Get a feel for the learning community, and see our award-winning program in action. Feel free to visit the school during one of the above tour dates. Tours in Spanish and Japanese are available. Parking is limited, so please plan accordingly. Tours will start promptly at 9:30 in the library.

   

Used Book Drive

March 8 -April 15
Book Drop-off: Hall outside of Library
JSIS is collecting gently used books for lower income families.  Please no encyclopedias or magazines. Remove any personal identification. Spanish-language books will be donated to a school library in Uruguay.

   
 

International Dinner

Friday, March 12  7:00 - 8:30
 
UPDATE: Potluck has been cancelled due to continued presence of Novovirus. Student performances will still take place starting at 7:00 pm. Mark your calendars for our all-school international concert!  It's our largest and most festive event, where the entire school gathers to watch our students perform. Volunteers are needed.  Contact Jane Rowley if you can help.

JSIS Yard Sale Tour 2010

As you prepare and make room for the holidays, please consider storing donations for the JSIS Yard Sale Tour. We accept clean, gently used, and operating toys, sporting goods, electronics, furniture and other household items. Contact Kelli Black or Susan Schudie.

Poetry Aloud

Don't miss the chance to see our kids showing off their poetry skills! Classes are reading on Friday mornings over the next couple months. Check the calendar to see when your child's class will be performing.

SCHOOL HOURS

School starts at 9:20am and ends at 3:30pm. The playground will be supervised starting at 9:00am.  Teacher-supervised Homework Club is in the cafeteria starting at 9:00am.  All students are welcome.
