The next Seattle Special Ed PTSA General Meeting will feature Social Skills programs. The meeting is on Tuesday, November 17, at 7 pm at the John Stanford International School, 4057 5th Ave NE, Seattle 98105. Please take note: This location is in Wallingford. After a brief business meeting, four special education teachers from elementary, middle school, and high school settings will present the social skills and peer mentor programs they use at their schools. The teachers are Rebecca Crissell (Pathfinder Elementary), Christine Billroth (North Beach Elementary), Susanna Cole (formerly Salmon Bay Middle School, now on sabbatical), and Jen Spanswick (Roosevelt High School) with Instructional Assistant Tom Ledcke. Seattle Parks and Recreation will close out the evening with a brief presentation on their social recreation programs for students with disabilities. All are welcome to attend!
